Yeah I don't get the DD thing either. I think that some random people are asked to choose an art piece they really like for the dd. But I'm not sure! But from looking at your work I'm sure it won't be long before it happens to you
Whoa, a very intersting piece here. I would love to hear the tale behind this as the man pose seems to be surprised to find it, while being in the middle of nowhere. And the fact the building is so different from everyday houses and seems to be part of the waterfall makes it a great place for a good tale.
As for the art itself: I like the style you use. A not perfectly coloured piece is sometimes more beautifull then one with neat black lines and solid colours. And here is really adds up to the enviroment and the mystic of the piece.
black ops is the shit , it's way more balanced and actually takes skill unlike mwf2 where people abuse the hell out of commando , javelin , stopping power, one man army noob tubing the list goes on. Now COD4 is the shit but mwf2. halo reach could be tight if people actually played the game properly instead of running around in warthogs. Not to mention ne time you kill you own teammate u get kicked out ( which most of the time is kids being stupid) and there is no way to filter games so that you can play with better people and not annoying kids. Well maybe there is i haven't played it enough.
but black ops is for the big boys who don't need grenade launchers and stopping power to take people down
meh u don't really need to go to school for that kind of stuff , there is plenty of information on the web , where you can just literally train yourself for practically free . however, if you are going to go the school route i just suggest you REALLY REALLY research the schools , that means talking to students , alumni etc
id say figure out which one u love more and do that one
True, right now I'm building up my portfolio and applying for Parsons: The New School for Design and Technology in NYC it would be a dream come true to get into that school! Maybe I'll focus on animation, and work on getting the "concept art technique" down in my spare time
