SOOOOOO sorry this is not a painting but some people asked to see my workspace and specs , so if you are not interested i'd turn back now lolol ( but i do promise more paintings to come)

Anyways the living room is our studio ( thats :icondarkartist3: to left and :icondelvolta: to the right. and mine is in the middle

on the back wall i just put a shitload of my favorite concept artists , so it keeps me inspired while I am painting. I haven't filled up the wall completely but soon

hardware

I got a MacPro - quadcore processor its like 2007 model so its old , but it still works great , and it has like 12 gigs of ram ( I don't need 12 gigs but its cool to have)

those are 2 samsung monitors , one is a SyncMasterSA350 other is SyncMasterBX2335. The one of the left has better resolution cause it has an hdmi input on it , so I do most of my paintings on the left side

Right side monitor is used for movies , reference , games , etc

I use a regular Intuos 4 ,

I have some shitty 9 euro speakers lolol

I got a little sony 9.1 mega pixel camera to take pics and stuff ,

Some random paper on the left which I used to do marker sketches and thumbnails.

And my Walking Stick to the right which I bought in SEGOVIA , IT'S TIGHT AS HELL , IM LIKE GANDALF IN THIS MOTHAFUCKA!!!!

Ipad2 on the right , I use it to watch movies , or Bob Ross Vids ( he rules ) . Mostly it is used to facetime with my lovely gf :iconsutefeni: . No I am not rich , my mother bought it for me as a going away present haha.

Oh and some headphones with a microphone on it for livestream WHICH I AM GOING TO START SOON NOW THAT I GOT MY SECOND MONITOR!!!!

Is this your advice mate? Printing out your fav artist and putting them up there? Wicked stuff. Also i cant wait for more live streams, alls good to see a pro at work. Awesome stuff landing yourself in Spain man! Learn some Spanish and communicate with the locals! Plus long time no chat!!

Okay, that's interesting :) thanks for sharing!
now I have a few questions if you don't mind:
1. how come you're living with 2 guys? are they co-workers? friends?
2. why don't they have a Wacom on their desks? they seem to be artists too.
3. do you drink a large bottle of water per day? :D
4. whose picture is on your screen?

P.s. HDMI has nothing to do with resolution - it's an input standard as is DVI. Actually, there are DVI to HDMI connectors and vice versa. I googled up both your monitors and they appear to be both 1920x1080, so it's no difference really.

1. I am actually living with 3 guys, haha I am not gay if thats what your asking , one of them is though , not that it matters :) . And yes they are all my co-workers/friends/schoolmates. But in the united states its quite common to have male roomates if you are male , same goes for girls
2. They have wacoms , but they were not painting at the time so it is probably under their desk or at work. But they paint in their spare just as much as I do.
3.haha no i do not drink that much water per day , a bottle like that can last me 1-2 weeks . I just drink when I am thirsty while at my computer
4. That crappy picture is mine haha , it's in my devart gallery.

weird that the hdmi has nothing to do resolution because the one with the hdmi is clearly crisper , yet it is the smaller of the 2 monitors hmmmm. Well no matter as long as they work haha

I see. Actually, that's not what I thought :) there's all kind of reasons to live together, including saving on rent :)
It's less common where I live, true, but mainly in student dorms.

Do you have a "roommate agreement" like Sheldon and Leonard? :D

well, I guess the monitor with hdmi is just better overall then. better TFT matrix maybe.
