Sorry for the lack of streams guys , for those of you who don't know I began teaching recently so my time for streams is dwindled . BUT!

I recently got camtasia and I really like it , so I think ill try making videos, with that said , what would guys like to see if i did camtasia videos and what kinds of questions would like me to answer ?

Think imma start a youtube page if this works out . I really do want to share more knowledge and talk about art with you guys!

Unforgettable

is dedicated to anyone who has ever followed their dreams, to anyone who has ever taken a chance
In late 2010 I accepted a job as a concept artist at a local game company in Madrid,Spain. Not knowing much about the company or the people I decided to take a chance and go. Leaving behind my fellow artists , friends , family , and dance community I boarded a plane with 2 suitcases not sure when I would be coming back . From learning a new language , to getting accustomed to different cultures , everyday presented not only a new challenge, but a new opportunity to better understand myself and my art. From Morocco to Paris I was blessed with the opportunity of traveling and learning from others who also shared my passion in art.
From gaining new friends that have become family to losing a 3+ year relationship with the person I thought was the one, my journey abroad was one of the most enjoyable and also one of the hardest times I ever experienced in my life. But above all else, it was also the most memorable. As Artist we struggle make things that are unforgettable. As I continue to learn about myself and my art. I hope that one day when people talk about the greats, that you may day think of me.
So to everyone that has been a part of my journey thus far this video is dedicated to you, and I hope that one day you too will have your unforgettable experience

First off , just want to say thanks to everyone for their support in our recent project . I think its seriously so cool when the community really gets behind people and shows their support!!

I decided to get things interesting.

so in case you guys have been wondering what I have been working on here it is , it has been very fun working on this project. Emberlab is a group of good people who really treat their artists well , which surprisingly rare to find these days!! . However , they still need funding so if you can get on to kick-starter and donate , I know if they get the funds to make the rest of the movie its going to be awesome!! ( also gives me more work!!) maybe ill do a thing where if people donate ill do paint-overs or something !!

A video to give you a taste of things to come

A lot has happened to me this past year. From doing small freelance gigs for kids' games, to being hired to work in Madrid as a concept artist. This was one of the most challenging/memorable experiences I ever had. From learning a new language, to getting accustomed to a different culture, everyday presented a new challenge.

I have seen things I thought I would never have the opportunity to see, and dealt with changes that I never saw coming. As artists we strive to create things that will be remembered. This is an experience that I consider unforgettable and I hope day I can convey that feeling in my art.

I hope everyone has had a great holiday , and I hope 2012 will bring you guys nothing but great fortune , success and happiness.

Lately I have been getting more and more questions about how I made it to where I am. Things I had to endure. And how to be a successful artist. Sometimes I have not been the best of putting my thought and beliefs into words. Nor have I found a book that expresses my beliefs and ideals until now.

I picked up Bobby Chiu's the Perfect Bait. Though I have only met him once in person, the funny thing is that a lot of the ideals , morals , philosophy he speaks about , I indirectly practiced them before I even knew who he was. I just never knew how to explain it. I think Bobby Chiu's  book comprehensively breaks down all the obstacles and solutions about becoming a successful artist.

Some people may view this book as a little cheesy , but I do believe it comes from a sincere place. I think if you take this book and read it through and really try to practice what he preaches then I think you will see improvement in your art.

so after reading it , I highly recommend it to those who are seeking to better their art
